Quarter Horse Mare for Sale in Lebanon, PA

Registered quarter horse mare. Rumor is a super solid,14.3 hand, 20 year old mare. She is as wide and thick as she is tall. You would never know this girl is 20. She has no health issues, very easy keeper, and has no lameness issues. She has strong feet and is barefoot. If you want a trustworthy trail horse who can sit for weeks and just jump on she is your girl. She is a point and go type of horse. I have not found a think she won't do for her rider. Rumor will stand all day to be pampered. She loves people and is great for pony rides. She is mainly Western trained, has a Great neckrein, but will direct rein also. If you let her she will do a slow jog the whole time you ride. Very comfy to ride. Has really good brakes! Stands to be brushed, bathed, saddled, bridled, mounted and clipped. Will pony from another horse, has a great W/J/L and back up. Gets along good with mares and geldings. Good in pasture, stalled or in a trailer. Does great at new places, doesn't get hot or jumpy. Would be great to do fun shows with. Will trot/lope some gaming patterns. She has had atleast 2 babies that I know of and is a great mom. Is up to date on teeth being floated, feet being trimmed, rabies and 5 way shot. She is definitely beginner safe, but she thinks she always needs to be doing a job for her rider. Sometimes she needs to be reminded that doesn't have to jog all the time. Rumor has alot of stamina and will go for hours. She is a super fun horse to ride that is very dependable. She lives in Lebanon PA.

About Lebanon, PA

Native tribes in the area of what is now Lebanon included the Shawnee, Susquehannock, Gawanese, Lenape (or Delaware), and Nanticoke peoples. Lebanon was settled by European colonists in 1720, many with the family names of "Steitz" and "Light", along a creek that was then named "Steitz Creek". The Light patriarchs built a fort to protect against Indians and named it "Light's Fort". The town was laid out in 1753, incorporated as a borough on February 20, 1821, and became a city on November 25, 1885. It adopted the commission form of government, consisting of four councilmen and a mayor.
