Tennessee Walking Gelding for Sale in Mount Vernon, KY

Taking offers on Thehorsebay dot com Trail horse deluxe! Check out this beautiful gelding! Registered TWHBEA “Title Town USA”, his barn name is Reno. Standing at 15hh he has a beautiful flaxen mixed sorrel mane and tail and plenty of flash. He has plenty of go to get you down the trail all day! He moves beautifully and knows his job, he has a super nice handle on him and no issues maneuvering through dense brush, across logs, creeks, ditches, deep water, you name it! Just since being with us he has experienced some wildlife, had dogs run out on him on the trail, passed all manner automobiles from cars, trucks, tractors, side by sides, four-wheelers, and dirt bikes. He has handled everything really well. We’ve also continued Reno’s foundation in the round pen on the ground, flexing and working to get him soft and supple. We have also worked him on a lunge line and done some liberty work with him. Now we have only had the pleasure of being around Reno because a previous customer of ours needed a horse with a little more Woah. So with that being said, we had the horse he needed and in return, he asked us to help find Reno a good home where he will be ridden and loved as he was in Pennsylvania with Scott and his family. This is a word from Scott: “I have owned Reno for the last two years, riding at all levels of trails in central Pennsylvania. He loves to be out front and can cover ground all day long. Whether it is straight-up a mountain or in switchgrass over his head around a lake, he continues without missing a beat. Reno crosses streams and wetlands without any issues. He stands for the farrier and cross ties for baths and cleaning. Reno is a sweetheart around the barn. We have five geldings, at the barn, and he fits in well, middle of the pack. He does love his apples and will always meet me at the gate for his treat. The reason I am selling him, unfortunately, is due to my age and some physical conditions. I need more whoa than go, he will make someone a gorgeous trail partner in his prime.” If you have any questions or would like to come to try Reno out for yourself feel free to reach out to us and we will answer any and all questions as well as set up times for viewing and riding!
