Palomino Foxtrotter Mare

Both of her grandparents on the sire’s side, Southern Sunrise, and the great Patriots Spitfire, are in the Missouri Foxtrotting Hall of Fame. Peppa was born and raised on our farm, and both her parents are still here as well. Peppa is consigned by Adam Jokisch Stables. We have over 60 register Missouri Foxtrotter’s and 2 breeding farms located in Freeburg, Illinois, and Conway, Missouri. We have been breeding Quality Missouri Foxtrotter’s for nearly 40 years. As you will see from the videos, Peppa knows her stuff. You won’t find many foxtrotters that have the body control Peppa has. Her ground manners are 2nd to none. She is incredibly responsive to leg pressure and fingertip lightness on the reigns. She has been hauled and ridden across the State of Missouri with senior citizens and unskilled riders up and down some of the most rugged trails you will find. She has been trained by Damon Buehrer using the Clinton Anderson method. You can visit his (Damon Buehrer YouTube channel) and see some of the other horses he has started and finished. Not only does Peppa ride, but you can hook her up and take that significant other for a leisurely cart ride down to the neighbors, around the block, or out on your favorite country road. She has the moves to make someone very competitive in the increasingly popular versatility or team penning events.
