Miss Tequila has exceeded every expectation we’ve had since the first ride! She is extremely smart and is an absolute pleasure. Sort a cow yesterday, rope a calf today, and go down a trail tomorrow! She will do whatever you ask at only 3 years old! We would love to see this filly go to a home where she could excel as a working cow horse or calf horse. She has the breeding and ability to go as far as you want. Her sire is a son of NCHA futurity champion and earner of $243,440, Mr Skyline Peppy. Her dam is an NCHA Money earner of $13,041, she’s a daughter of I’ll Be Smart who has $85,076 NCHA earnings, and is a full brother to SMART LITTLE LENA. Her 2nd dam has produced 7 NCHA money earners and is a daughter of Freckles Playboy. Tequila was extremely easy to start and progressed fast. She has worked the flag, cut a cow, and been roped off of. I have roped a calf from this mare bridless. When I say she’s exceeded all expectations- I mean it. She will ride decent 1 handed, has a Big stop, starting to really put together a good turn around, and is very light. Tequila has handled hauling to new places like an old pro. There isn’t much that bothers her. She has never once offered to buck or make a wrong move. Tequila has everything to make an outstanding performance horse.
