Colt Starting

Hey there my name is Elena Penner and I'm 17 years old. I have ridden for 10 years, trained horses for 5, and done horse rescues the last 3 years. This winter I’m riding under Eileen Eagle Bears at Eagle Bears Performance Horses for experience and guidance. Now during winter I'm looking to take on a couple project horses for other people. I love horses and listen to what their telling me. I use gentle but firm methods. Right now I'm looking to start young horses from 2+ years. I do lots of ground work, desensitizing, gentling halter breaking etc. I do have references available as well from people who have bought rescues from me. I board and train at Chalanchuck quarter horses. There is indoor/outdoor rounds pens and indoor/outdoor arenas. I will work the horses 3-6 days depending on the horse and their work ability. I have worked with mares stallions geldings. And gentled and trained babies. I have experience with horses that rear, buck, bolt, kick, rear, bite, spooky, abused, I've seen it all.
