Beautiful Mare

Chrome is a beautiful thoroughbred cross. she stands between 15.1-15.2 hands. She is gorgeous bay mare. Shes super flashy and so fun to work with. She has good confirmation and as solid as they come. She is not a mean horse but shes also not in your pocket type horse. She likes a job but does like to keep doing the same thing over and over again, such as lunging in circles for too long. she stands tied, does not paw. she has had lots of ground work done. she lunges both ways, all paces. she stops, backs, yeilds hindquarters, all that. she is soft and responsive. she does have more thoroughbred in her so she is a bit flightly. ive never had her take off but will def tense up at scary things. ive spent hours handling her, picking up her feet, getting on and off her, having her walk over tarps, lunged over jumps, etc. she has been exposed to some cows, farm equipment, quads, golf carts, loud trucks, etc. she leads well. she can be hard to catch but most of the time is easy to handle. she may need front shoes if ridden regularly. Chrome has grown a really nice winter coat so no need for blankets. she gets one scoop of pellets otherwise is out on pasture. currently out 24/7 in mixed herd. she has been saddled, climbed on, lay on, and done walk, stop, turn, back, move off leg, up and down hills with a rider. she took it in stride. she has not been trotted as of yet, im taking things slow and careful with her as she was previosly abused. she truly has come so far. she is easy to harness/ground drive and saddle and bridle. english western and bareback. can be ridden in a bit or halter. beautiful project mare. only asking 1800! dont miss out on this talented thoroughbred cross! she would excel at barrels or jumping. or use her on trails or broodmare.
