Spotted Saddle Gelding for Sale in Bend, OR
Big solid guy who loves people and attention. TJ is a gentle giant but not a dead head. He is very safe but fun to ride as he is not a plug along horse. TJ is one of those horses that takes everything in stride. Not spooky, fine with bikers, hikers, crossed water, logs, ditches, bridges, nice and careful on steep rocky terrain. TJ has a light mouth and does neck rein. He is literally easy to do anything with, he stands perfect for the farrier and vet, great for a bath, loads, hauls and backs out of the trailer. TJ has also been on many camping trips and is fine high lining for the night. He is sound has has no health issues or vices.
About Bend, OR
The name Bend was derived from "Farewell Bend", the designation used by early pioneers to refer to the location along the Deschutes River where the town was eventually platted, one of the few fordable points along the river. Until the winter of 1824, the Bend area was known only to Native Americans who hunted and fished there. That year, members of a fur-trapping party led by Peter Skene Ogden visited the area. John C. Frémont, John Strong Newberry, and other Army survey parties came next.
