Quarter Horse Mare for Sale in New Boston, TX

Sister (Shes Outta Redbuck) was bought at the Pitzer Ranch sale as a weanling. She has the beauty, brains, and the breeding to fit anyone's program. She was trained for roping and was making a nice horse until her owner was injured. She then became a pasture decoration for 2 years. I got her and was unable to ride regularity because of my own health issues. She showed me that I was wasting her potential. She is easy to be around easy to catch anywhere but usually meets you at the gate. Sister works off leg pressure, stands for mounting, 1 hand neck reins, will cross water like she was born in it, and will ride in a group or alone. You can see her pedigree on allbreedpedigree.com. The only reason I am selling her is that she is tall and I am short.

About New Boston, TX

The Red River Expedition (1806) was stopped by the Spanish in the vicinity of the town. When the Missouri Pacific Railroad was being constructed 4 miles (6 km) north of the village of Boston (now Old Boston) in the summer of 1876, it was clear to many businessmen in the town that it would suffer a serious decline as a consequence of its distance from the line. At a mass meeting, J. H. Smelser, a local resident and surveyor for the railroad, was selected to meet with railroad officials to secure the location of a depot at a point on the line nearest to Boston.
