Pinto Mare for Sale in College Station, TX

About Believe n Miracles Miracle was seized along with her dam and three other horses by law enforcement and then placed with Bluebonnet. She was not handled before coming to Bluebonnet, but her foster home worked with her to teach her some basic skills. She was then enrolled in the fall 2019 Bluebonnet Rescue Horse Training Challenge in hand division. Her handler taught her better leading skills and began working with her over obstacles in hand. She placed 4th in her division! Evaluation and Training Miracle is an adorable filly who has learned to be caught, lead, and load while with her foster home. She spent four months in late 2019 being handled by a youth trainer preparing for the Fall Training Challenge where she placed 4th overall in the Non Pro in hand division. She learned to stand for the farrier and grooming, and to navigate trail obstacles in hand. Her trainer’s family said “Miracle is a sweet girl! Very playful, curious and likes to be around people. She is a very smart girl and a quick learner as well. She gets along well with other horses. She can be very quiet but likes to test her speed at times when she’s in the pasture.” She likes water, will play in the sprinkler, and has also been known to paws in the kiddie pool they have for their dogs. Miracle has joined the Spring 2020 Challenge with another youth trainer to continue her ground training. Miracle won’t be ready to start under saddle for about two more years, but she’s getting a great foundation! She’s a nice age to adopt now, train on the ground, and bond with. Then she’ll be ready to do anything once she is started under saddle.

About College Station, TX

The origins of College Station date from 1860, when the Houston and Texas Central Railway began to build through the region. Eleven years later, the site was chosen as the location for the proposed Agricultural and Mechanical College of Texas, a land-grant school. In 1876, as the nation celebrated its centennial, the school (renamed Texas A&M University in 1963) opened its doors as the first public institution of higher education in the state of Texas. The population of College Station grew slowly, reaching 350 in 1884 and 391 at the turn of the century. However, during this time, transportation improvements took place in the town.
