Quarter Horse Gelding for Sale in Auburn, KS
Colton is a 12 year old gelding. He is friendly and loves attention. He is very smart and learns quickly. He has a comfortable ride with a smooth lope and gallop. His one vice is he is buddy sour. For this reason he needs a confident rider. My husband has taken him out alone across the street, around our property, on our neighbor’s property away from his buddies and he did ok. He neck reigns, can open gates, leg cues, side passes, and rollbacks. The previous owners used him for roping, but we haven’t. About Auburn, KS
In July 1854, John W. Brown came to this area and found it highly suitable for a homestead. He acquired 800 acres (3.2 km 2) through bartering with local Indians. He later returned home to Missouri to tell his family and friends about the area. Some returned with him.
