Gelding for Sale in Chester, VA

We are looking for a horse to free lease this summer for my daughter who is 14 years old. She does Hunters equitation and jumpers and works with a trainer weekly. The horse needs to be able to be leased with his/her own tack. The horse needs to be above 13.5 hh. The horse would need to be able to w/t/c and jump. She currently jumps around 18 inches and plans on being able to jump around 2 foot with her trainer. The horse also needs to be sound and not be aggressive when being handled on the ground(she can still ride more difficult horses ). We would board the horse at the stables she takes lessons at which is located in chester va. If you feel like you have a horse that would be good fit feel free to text or email me at 804-704-4302 and equestrianbyheart@icloud.com.

About Chester, VA

Chester's original "downtown" was a stop which was an intersection of the Richmond and Petersburg Railroad, running north to south, and the Clover Hill Railroad, which became the Brighthope Railway, then the Farmville and Powhatan Railroad. In 1900, when the Richmond and Petersburg merged with the Atlantic Coast Line, that new railroad intersected the same east west railroad which became the Tidewater and Western Railroad in 1905. The Chester Station was the scene of a battle during the American Civil War. The Seaboard Air Line also passed through in 1900 running north to south which to day is replaced with Chester Linear Park. Chester today is a bedroom community along State Route 10.
