Paint Pony Gelding for Sale in Benton Harbor, MI
Freckles is green broke to walk, trot, canter and back up. He needs work on standing still to be mounted. He is 5 years old and approx. 12.2 hand high. Freckles would make somebody an excellent gymkhana pony (with work) as he likes to move along. He had been trained as a hunter jumper pony before we got him and we have jumped him in a western saddle. Freckles has an unusual shy but bold personality and is a very curious fellow. He has been ridden at Russ Forest. He has been ridden over bridges and through water. Freckles is low on the pecking order. He has been around cows, sheep, chickens, pigs, cats, and dogs. He trailers well. Price reduced to $1,200 for quick sale.

About Benton Harbor, MI
Benton Harbor was founded by Henry C. Morton, Sterne Brunson and Charles Hull, who all now have or have had schools named after them. Benton Harbor was mainly swampland bordered by the Paw Paw River, through which a canal was built, hence the "harbor" in the city's name. In 1860, the village was laid out by Brunson, Morton, Hull and others, and given the name of Brunson Harbor. Brunson, Morton, and Hull also donated land and solicited subscriptions for construction of the canal, which was completed in 1862.
