Gelding for Sale in Benton Harbor, MI

Casanova is the calmest, quickest learner we have trained yet. By his 10th riding, he was being ridden bareback. He walks, trots, canters, loads well, and stands well for a foot trim. He is beginning to learn to back up and neck rein. He DOES NOT spook. We would ride him next to a cliff. He ties and stands well, and has been ridden down the road many miles. He can be ridden alone or in a group. In a group he can be anywhere in the pack. Casanova is 5 years old and stands 13.3hh. Perfectly sound and healthy. No meanness. No bucking, rearing, biting or bolting. He is a gelding, but he may have been cut late as he likes the girls and they really like him. He also bites at geldings. He is being trained nearly daily and is improving rapidly. We are asking $2,000. If you are interested please call 269-463-6846.

About Benton Harbor, MI

Benton Harbor was founded by Henry C. Morton, Sterne Brunson and Charles Hull, who all now have or have had schools named after them. Benton Harbor was mainly swampland bordered by the Paw Paw River, through which a canal was built, hence the "harbor" in the city's name. In 1860, the village was laid out by Brunson, Morton, Hull and others, and given the name of Brunson Harbor. Brunson, Morton, and Hull also donated land and solicited subscriptions for construction of the canal, which was completed in 1862.
