Quarter Horse Gelding for Sale in Sonora, KY
2 year old just picked up from trainer last weekend. Started 30 days of riding. Utd on vaccines and deworming. Has been handled since birth. 4 brand new shoes, loads unloads, no vices. He is sweet affectionate and people oriented. He has a great mix of speed and foundation bloodlines, he is 16hh and isn't finished growing ( dam 16.3/ sire 16hh) he is a beautiful eye catching horse, but is not cut out to be a barrel horse for us as he is toed in on the front. He moves clean but is best suited for a trail or pleasure riding career. Good home is must. Will make someone a great partner.

About Sonora, KY
Sonora began as an L&N Railroad construction camp known as "Bucksnort" in the late 1850s. This name is believed to have been inspired by the sounds of early locomotives, which the workers thought resembled deer snorts. When a depot was established at the site in 1859, the name was changed to "Sonora". This may have referred to Sonora, Mexico, the home of a railroad contractor.
