Quarter Horse Mare for Sale in Watertown, TN
Ellie is a sweet tempered mare that rides anywhere on the trail. She will go through water, swim, over logs, mountains, buffalo and sort cows. In addition, she rides out well alone or with groups. I have also ran her in games at local saddle club. She is sound and is up on shots, etc. We have taught beginner horse riding for Cubscouts and Boyscouts on her as well. About Watertown, TN
Prior to the town's establishment, the land was a Revolutionary War grant to Colonel Archibald Lytle and his brother William. Circa 1790, the grandparents of Watertown's founder, Wilson L. Waters, moved into the area. In 1845, the post office moved from nearby Three Forks to Wilson's store. Waters expanded his operations with a sawmill, gristmill and blacksmith shop.
