Gelding for Sale in Lancaster, PA

Jinx is a QH cross gelding standing at 14.2 hands. Jinx is spunky, upbeat, and tons of fun to have around. Jinx rides and drives. Under harness he is easy to harness, is not spooky, and is forward and willing. Under saddle Jinx will WTC both directions and is learning how to go over some small cross rails. He is incredibly athletic and would make a great jumping prospect, gaming pony, or trail pony. Jinx crosses logs, water, mud, bridges, etc. He is traffic safe, dog safe, and sane. He can go English or Western and is responsive to leg and voice aids. In the barn, Jinx has incredible ground manners. He ties, loads, stands to be tacked and groomed, picks up all four feet, fly sprays and stands to be bathed. In the pasture, Jinx is a little on the shy side, but gets along with everyone.

About Lancaster, PA

Originally called Hickory Town, the city was renamed after the English city of Lancaster by native John Wright. Its symbol, the red rose, is from the House of Lancaster. Lancaster was part of the 1681 Penn's Woods Charter of William Penn, and was laid out by James Hamilton in 1734. It was incorporated as a borough in 1742 and incorporated as a city in 1818. During the American Revolution, Lancaster was the capital of the United States for one day, on September 27, 1777, after the Continental Congress fled Philadelphia, which had been captured by the British.
