Looking to sell my mare Silk and gems is a big sound sweet 16.2 thoroughbred mare. A good home is a must the only reason I am selling her as I need to cut back. She is by Silic winner of the Breeder’s Cup Mile out of a daughter of Sheikh Albadou the winner of Breeder’s Cup Sprint. Making her both her sire and broodmare sire both Breeder’s Cup winners!!! She is great outside in a herd or by herself in a stall. Great to get along with and easy to handle. She is currently up to date on vaccinations worming and is turned outside. She is in foal to Ohio accredited stallion Thabazimbi on a March 30 cover. Thabazimbi by Empire Maker who a is multiple graded stakes placed and a winner of $186,157. He was third in Grade 3 Louisville stakes and Grade 2 Bowling stakes where he beat Grade 1 winner Americain.Sold as a $350,000 Keeneland yearling and was raced by prominent breeder Dr. John Chandler. About Youngstown, OH

Youngstown was named for New York native John Young, who surveyed the area in 1796 and settled there soon afterward. On February 9, 1797, Young purchased the township of 15,560 acres (6,300 ha) from the Western Reserve Land Company for $16,085. The 1797 establishment of Youngstown was officially recorded on August 19, 1802. The area that includes present-day Youngstown was part of the Connecticut Western Reserve, a section of the Northwest Territory that Connecticut initially did not cede to the Federal government. Upon cession, Connecticut retained the title to the land in the Western Reserve, which it sold to the Connecticut Land Company for $1,200,000.
