Excellent Trail & Driving Mare

A beautiful, buff, refined, and nicely put together but not too tall draft cross mare. Pepper is a sweetheart and a super nice mare to ride and drive. She's great out on trails and drives double or single fantastic also. Pepper is barefoot and has very nice, hard, healthy, black hooves. Was great for our farrier to trim. She is 100% sound and sane. Gets along great with other horses in a turn out/ pasture setting. Is not marish or silly. Pepper has a wonderful work ethic. And would make a great commercial carriage horse. On the trails this mare has no spook, does great in the lead or will follow a group. Rides and drives out alone. Has a nice trot and beautiful lope. Surefooted, and great at climbing or just going on a pleasure ride. She is a very quick learner and aims to please. In our experience with her when teaching her something new, we only need to ask or show her once and she has it down! Rides and drives great in a simple "O" ring snaffle. Pepper is just a really nice quality mare, very willing, and very quiet. Traffic safe, great with dogs, & safe to drive on the busy roads. If you like to drive or want to learn here's your horse. For riding if you want a reliable, easy going and very willing trail horse that you can fall asleep on or have a little fun galloping out or climbing hills- then this is your horse!
