Quarter Horse Mare for Sale in Newberg, OR

With Doc Bar on top and bottom of her pedigree, this sweet mare is bred to work and loves a job. Steady is athletic, has a solid foundation and is ready to be finished in any direction (Western, English, Cutting, Reining, Cowboy Dressage, Trail). She is light on the aids when ridden, thrives in a work program, and has been in professional training for the past 2 months. Steady can be trail ridden in a group or alone, loves to hop right into the trailer, gets along well in a herd, and is up to date on shots/trims/de-worming. She is smart, keen, athletic, and kind, and is ready to find her person and what she wants to be when she grows up! Motivated seller, would like to see this great horse in a home by July. Email: renegade.equine@gmail.com for more information on Steady, or text 802-222-

About Newberg, OR

Ewing Young, after leading pioneering fur brigades in California, came to Portland in 1834 and settled on the west bank of the Willamette River near the mouth of Chehalem Creek, opposite of Champoeg. Young's home is believed to be the first house built by European-Americans on that side of the river. Later, Joseph Rogers settled near the Willamette River at what is now Newberg in 1848. The community was known early on as Chehalem, and later as Roger's Landing for Rogers who founded the settlement, and who died in 1855. In 1883, the community was platted.
