Andalusian Gelding for Sale in Steamboat Springs, CO

Toso has been owned for the past 3 years by an 12 year old girl. And he has done it all! He can be ridden English and can be jumped up to 2'6". Or he can be ridden Western and bareback. He has been shown in many 4-H events and can do everything from Showmanship to Reining. He has done Pony Club as well. He is also an awesome trail horse. This guy is happy to do whatever his rider asks him to do. Because he is half Andalusian, he is super comfortable to ride. He is super sweet on the ground and loves to be groomed and loved on. He is great with the vet and farrier. He would be a great kids horse or great for anyone looking for a sweet gelding! We love Toso very much and are sad to see him go, however his rider has outgrown him. He is a sweet, wonderful, does it all gelding that needs a new loving owner!

About Steamboat Springs, CO

The area surrounding Steamboat Springs was originally inhabited by the Yampatika band of the Ute Tribe Utes, who hunted in the valley during the summer. Trappers began to move through the area during the first decades of the 19th century. James Harvey Crawford, the founder of Steamboat Springs, first arrived in the spring of 1874. The Crawford family moved there in 1876, and for the first five years were the sole permanent Anglo-Saxon residents of the town. The native Utes were forcibly removed from the area to a reservation in Utah by the U.S.
