17 Year old Quarter Horse Gelding

Baron is a 17 year old Quarter Horse gelding, standing approx.. 15.2 hh. Can be ridden Western or English. This boy needs a low-key environment where he will be worked lightly and loved on a daily basis. Due to a history of overuse Baron can get nervous under saddle when stressed, but with a quiet, confident rider he will try his best. He has a very soft mouth and is sensitive to leg/seat aids, better for an intermediate to advanced rider. According to his previous owner he can jump and has been ridden on trails, but we have not worked with him on either. He goes well on a lunge line, can be ridden in a hackamore, and is UTD on all shots. He does need to wear a cribbing collar. Baron is unsuitable for our lesson program at this time, and we want him to find a forever home with someone who will enjoy him and give him the attention he deserves.
