Very sweet 11yr old quarter horse for sale!! He runs barrels , poles , loves to work cattle , I've done goat tying and you can rope off him!not skittish at all, you can shoot around him and run flags off him with no problem! Stands for farrier, picks up all 4 feet, same with the vet, isn't afraid of needles and takes it like a pro! I've always kept him shoed and he does amazing! No buck kick or bite, you can ride double on him, ride with another horse or alone and he does fine Either way. Loades with no problem. I've entered him in the 4-H show and he won me 1st place. Laid back but has some get and go to him when he knows it's show time! Only reason I'm selling him is because I need a step up horse! About Batesville, AR
Batesville is the second oldest municipality after the town of Georgetown — and the oldest city — in the state of Arkansas. It was named for the first territorial delegate from Arkansas to the Congress of the United States, James Woodson Bates, who settled in the town. The town has also gone by the names of Napoleon and Poke Bayou. In early days, Batesville was an important port on the White River and served as an entry point to the interior of northern Arkansas. Batesville played a large role in the settling of the Ozark Mountains region and served as the central land office for northern Arkansas.
