Thoroughbred Mare for Sale in Alburnett, IA

I have owned Rainy for almost 7 years now. Together we have completed training in dressage, basic jumping and eventing. She knows many high level dressage moves and is a quick learner, as well as a girl who knows what shes doing. Her ground manners are perfect and she can be handled by anyone of any age. On the other hand, when riding she would be considered the next step up from your average dead broke lesson horse. She just has a little to much spunk under the saddle to be considered completely bomb proof. Though she rarely ever spooks. I have not shown her recently simply because I cannot afford to, but when I was younger we went to a few events, and always placed pretty high in them. Dressage is her specialty, even for her breed she has very floaty movement. Rainy is up for a shared lease. I am not planning on selling her. If you are looking for a horse to take lessons on and learn or just ride because you love horses and cant afford your own. She would be perfect for you! Contact me if you want the contract details. Email is best at Madison.Givens1***@gmail.com

About Alburnett, IA

In 1887, the Illinois Central Railroad was built through Linn County's Otter Creek township. In the winter of that year a depot was built on land donated by Albert Burnett. Because he had given land for the depot, the name "Burnett" was chosen for its identification. Business interests began to center around the depot because the railroad offered an outlet to both the north and the south, and because of its proximity to Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Burnett and his wife soon began to plat a community.
