Horses for Sale in Seattle, WA

Twister is a great all-around gelding. He is 15.3 h, coming 6 year old. He loves eventing and has the potential to go far! Twister is a solid Novice horse (no xc jump faults in his career). Will be shown at Training and above if he is still with us this season. Beautiful mover and forgiving even if you’re not a perfect rider. Loves cross country. Super handy; great on tight stadium courses. In addition – this horse has seen and done some of everything! Ride and Tie events, endurance rides, jumper classes, given lessons to kids/beginners, given cross country and stadium lessons, fox hunting, tons of trail, ‘husband safe’, and even lead line classes. Price will go up accordingly as season goes on and he is campaigned more at higher levels. Don’t miss out – he is lots of fun!

About Seattle, WA

Archaeological excavations suggest that Native Americans have inhabited the Seattle area for at least 4,000 years. By the time the first European settlers arrived, the people (subsequently called the Duwamish tribe) occupied at least seventeen villages in the areas around Elliott Bay. The first European to visit the Seattle area was George Vancouver, in May 1792 during his 1791–95 expedition for the British Navy to chart the Pacific Northwest. In 1851, a large party led by Luther Collins made a location on land at the mouth of the Duwamish River; they formally claimed it on September 14, 1851. Thirteen days later, members of the Collins Party on the way to their claim passed three scouts of the Denny Party.
