Haflinger Stallion for Sale in Colorado Springs, CO

His registered name is Mentors Mensural. His reg number is 17558***1. I got him from some people that had been riding him wrong. I started him back at the beginning, starting with some Clinton Anderson ground work. He is green broke under saddle. He can be ridden at a walk and trot. I also have him longing with side reins. He still needs some more work on the longe line with side reins for the canter;he is still unbalanced. Is up to date on shots and deworming, has great feet no shoes needed. Clips with clippers, stands tied, trailers and long lines. Would look cute pulling a cart too. Would make a great show pony with some time. Comes with the bit that he uses. Need to sell to down size horses. Asking $1800 obo. Sweet pony that just needs to have a job.

About Colorado Springs, CO

The Ute, Arapaho and Cheyenne peoples were the first recorded inhabiting the area which would become Colorado Springs. Part of the territory included in the United States' 1803 Louisiana Purchase, the current city area was designated part of the 1854 Kansas Territory. In 1859, after the first local settlement was established, it became part of the Jefferson Territory on October 24 and of El Paso County on November 28. Colorado City at the Front Range confluence of Fountain and Camp creeks was "formally organized on August 13, 1859" during the Pike's Peak Gold Rush. It served as the capital of the Colorado Territory from November 5, 1861, until August 14, 1862, when the capital was moved to Denver.
