Peruvian Paso Mare for Sale in Fort Morgan, CO
very willing and gentle mare that has been ridden in the mountains, in
lakes, across bridges, with cattle and my eight year old daughter has
ridden her. I've ridden her alone and in large groups, she has been on
two day rides, always sound and no problems. A really sweet mare that
would excel in competetive trail with her incredible smooth gaits, her
willingness to please and her wonderful dispositon. We are reluctant to
sell her but are competing all ready with three other horses and showing
breed shows with arabs and quarters. Bella could be a real asset for
someone wanting that perfect trail riding companion. I want her to have
the very best home. I'm all ready missing her, when I'm older, I will
have peruvians to ride, they are incredible.

                    About Fort Morgan, CO
Camp Wardwell was established in 1865 along the Overland Trail to protect emigrants and supplies going to and from Denver and the mining districts. The fort was renamed in 1866 by General John Pope for one of his staff, Colonel Christopher A. Morgan, who had died earlier that year. The fort closed in 1868 after being used by 19 different companies from 11 cavalry and infantry regiments (about 1,300 soldiers). The town of Fort Morgan was platted just south of the old military fort’s ruins on May 1, 1884, by Abner S.
