Thoroughbred Mare for Sale in Oxford, PA
Registered (Jockey Club) Thoroughbred mare off the track. Will include a
free breeding to my Arabian stallion, Eliron Ring of Fire, as part of the
deal (if interested) . "Frankie H" is bay with star, 15. 2H,
W / T / C (correct lead!) , started over fences. Going nicely. Needs
intermediate rider to continue training. UTD with shots (Apr '09) ,
trimmings, worming, and coggins. Good for farrier, clipping, loading,
and bathing. Mild cribber, barefoot, and sound. Very friendly and easy

About Oxford, PA
The borough was once called Oxford Crossing and Oxford Village during the 1700s. Oxford is located near the half-way point on the main road from Philadelphia to Baltimore. The owner of the stage between the two cities purchased Hood's Tavern and renamed it Oxford Hotel. It became the stopping point on the two-day trip between the two cities. In 1805, the Oxford post office was established.
