Quarter Horse Mare for Sale in Piedmont, MO
"Bay Lady" is 4 yrs old, sweet mare. leads, loads, bathes,
trail rides, been shown a few times, ridden on search and rescue. My 13 yr
old niece is getting too heavy for her and needs something stockier and
very broke. Bay hasnt been ridden much this summer and just needs a few
rides to remind her she's a horse and not a dog. Very sweet and gentle.

Piedmont was platted in 1871 when the Iron Mountain Railroad was extended south to that point. The community derives its name from the French pied and mont, meaning "foot" and "mountain" respectively. A post office called Piedmont has been in operation since 1872.
