Quarter Horse Stallion at Stud in Dayville, OR

Color - Bone - Disposition - Conformation - Barred Sky Line a. k. a. "Cotton" has produced 43 foals, 38 of which are gray or blue roan. His sire Skylines Drifter was a blue roan. Cotton has been an all around ranch horse most of his life. He has an easy, all business, way about him. Our daughter used him for her Rodeo Queen horse this past season. He never gets excited and never acts up! He has been used in Ranch rodeo's in all roping events, plus the flaggers horse and a pickup horse. He just adapts to whoever is on him and whatever the job is. He has a gaited (single foot) walk in addition to a regular walk. He weighs about 1150 lbs and stands 15. 1. He throws big, shapey, atletic foals. For more pictures and info visit our web site

About Dayville, OR

Dayville was named for the John Day River. The original site of the Dayville post office was 3 miles (5 km) west of the city's current location. In the mid-19th century, Dayville was along the route of a wagon road, renamed The Dalles Military Road in about 1870, that connected The Dalles on the Columbia River with gold mines near Canyon City. Dayville was incorporated in 1913.
