Quarter Horse Mare for Sale in Gillette, WY
Great AQHA / FQHR (Foundation Quarter Horse Registry) mare for sale. She
is a classic quarter horse with a large chest, big heart girth, huge
hips! This picture doesn't do her justice, I can email more pictures. She
could win a halter class for you! This mare is saddle broke, ridden
in indoor arenas, outdoor arenas, and trails. Bathes, clips, hauls
great. Very quiet and respectful on the ground. She had her first foal
this summer on June 14, 2007. He was a bay colt that is also for sale. She
is open for next year, re - breed her early in the season, or just enjoy
her as a riding horse. She is an easy breeder and great mare to handle.
Up to date on deworming and all vaccinations. We just have too many
horses and are selling some horses that we don't have time to show.

                    About Gillette, WY
Before its founding, Gillette started as Donkey Town, named after Donkey Creek, and then was moved and called Rocky Pile after Rocky Draw. Gillette was founded in 1891 with the coming of the Chicago, Burlington & Quincy Railroad and incorporated on January 6, 1892, less than two years after Wyoming became a state. Chicago, Burlington & Quincy Railroad changed the name to Gillette for Edward Gillette, who worked as a surveyor for the company. In November 1895, a fire destroyed most of Gillette. Only two saloons, two stores, and a restaurant survived.
