Quarter Horse Stallion for Sale in Austin, TX
15. 3 hands and weighs about 1200 pounds. He is super sweet and well trained. Loads trailers well, stands for the farrier. Current on all vax and current negative coggins. Never been lame and has never had colic. He does have a weird quirk though. Periodically he acts up a little when in new situations and gets nervous. He's not dangerous or hard to handle, just needs an experienced rider. No children. He's worth much more than I am asking, but I just don't have the time or space to keep him anymore. He must go to a good home. To people that will have time to work with him consistently. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me. Final Note: If you are a broker, auctioneer or stock contracter, please do not contact me!
About Austin, TX
Austin, Travis County and Williamson County have been the site of human habitation since at least 9200 BC. The area's earliest known inhabitants lived during the late Pleistocene (Ice Age) and are linked to the Clovis culture around 9200 BC (over 11,200 years ago), based on evidence found throughout the area and documented at the much-studied Gault Site, midway between Georgetown and Fort Hood. When settlers arrived from Europe, the Tonkawa tribe inhabited the area. The Comanches and Lipan Apaches were also known to travel through the area. Spanish colonists, including the Espinosa-Olivares-Aguirre expedition, traveled through the area for centuries, though few permanent settlements were created for some time.
