Quarter Horse Stallion for Sale in Loleta, CA
AQHA #3789***7 Docs Bit Of Whimsy aka Cooper, Age: 11, 15H, 1000 lbs, Doc Bar, Gay Bar King and Poco Bueno bloodlines. This horse is fast. Has had 30 days roping training, but I think he would be great on barrels. He loves to run. He is great on trails, in the hills and in the arena. Has pushed cows and used for team penning. Loves to chase the cows. Best for an intermediate because he~s fast, but I~ve had kids as young as 10 ride him. He stands for farrier, baths and grooming. Loads without any problems. I ridden him around traffic. Crosses bridges, goes anywhere you ask him to. He's used to dogs, quads, guns, and other horses. He is UTD on shots, worming & shoes. Will trade for a Palomino or Paint gelding of equal value.
About Loleta, CA
European settlement began in the early 1850s although Wiyot people had inhabited the area for generations. Potato farming was the biggest agricultural use of land until the 1870s, when depleted soil and declining prices caused a turn to dairying. The town was originally known as Swauger or Swauger's Station, for local landowner Samuel A. Swauger. The town was renamed Loleta in 1897.
