Quarter Horse Stallion for Sale in Delafield, WI
Gabe is a beautiful 16 hand Quarter Horse Cross. Gabe knows how to jump and do some lower level Dressage but needs a good refresher on this. He has been shown in Drill Team and in Western Pleasure. He is safe on the trail and doesnt spook at anything. He crosses water and rides with traffic. We have spooked many deer and turkey and he just stands there. Gabe has been used as a lesson horse on and off for 8 to 13 year old girls. Gabe bathes, clips, leads, ties, loads pretty good, stands for the vet and Ferrier. Gabe would make a great addition to any family as long as there is at least one experienced person that can really keep him in line. The only reason for sale is we would like to get a smaller horse. Good home is a MUST!
About Delafield, WI
Delafield was established in 1837, named after Dr. Charles Delafield of Milwaukee. It was the hometown of the Cushing brothers, who served the Union cause during the American Civil War - Alonzo (killed during Pickett's Charge at Gettysburg), William (led the raid on CSS Albemarle), and Howard (an Indian fighter killed fighting the Apache in Arizona after the war). Cushing Memorial Park is named after them, and is home to a war memorial in their honor. Since 1927, a culinary event known as the "Coon Feed" has taken place in Delafield.
