Paint Stallion for Sale in Poynette, WI
APHA, Solid Black, Jet has very muscular hindquarters & muscle tone
throughout. His pedigree includes: King, Poco, Bars, Bailey. UTD on
vaccines, worming & has regular hoof trimming. Jet is well mannered and
handles familiar surroundings well; he is great around my young children.
However outside his familiar surroundings he gets very nervous. He
has had limited ground work in the round pen, but I am unable to give
him the consistent attention he needs to become a GREAT riding horse.
Jet needs someone who is patient and experienced with horses and /
or is working directly with a trainer to give him the training he needs.
About Poynette, WI
Poynette was named after Pierre Paquette (1796–1836), an early fur trader and settler of south central Wisconsin. When an application was made for a post office in the settlement, Paquette's name was misread as Poynette, and the post office was mistakenly named "Poynette". The village was then named after the post office. The community was incorporated in 1892.
