Ping is a 13 yr old, 15 ~ Hands, 1200 lbs. Broke to ride & used mainly as
a broodmare. She is open for early breeding. Has always been bred live
cover. Good for vet & farrier, leads, loads, ties, bathes, etc. Great
disposition, very friendly comes to you in the pasture. Good in a
stall or outside, also good by herself & with other horses, middle of
the pecking order. Very responsive when riding, has done team penning,
western, english, halter, etc & was shown at open shows in the past,
would make a great trail or family horse. Asking $2000, needs to go to
make room for new foal.

About Maiden Rock, WI
The town is named for a cliff (also called "Maiden Rock") just south of the village. In the Winona legend, the daughter of Dakota Sioux chief Red Wing (for whom the nearby town of Red Wing, Minnesota is named) jumped from this cliff after her lover, a member of the rival Chippewa tribe, was killed by Dakota warriors under orders from Red Wing. A plaque still stands near the base of the cliff, memorializing the village's namesake.
