Thoroughbred Mare for Sale in Montgomery, PA
Alexandra's Hope - 5 year old Thoroughbred mare. Good brood mare
potential. She is tattooed but papers are lost, records can be obtained
through the Jockey Club.
Hope is sound enough for riding but not to show. She was used as a
lesson horse for 2 years but has gotten too spirited for our novice
program. She has lovely gaits and could make some beautiful foals,
or be used for general riding.

About Montgomery, PA
Montgomery was incorporated as a borough by the Pennsylvania General Assembly on March 27, 1887 from part of Clinton Township. The history of the settlement of Montgomery begins in 1783 when John Lawson established a homestead there. Nicholas Shaffer built a gristmill in Montgomery in 1795. A sawmill and a wool carding mill were other early industries found on Black Hole Creek which flows through Montgomery. [ citation needed ] P.
