Quarter Horse Stallion for Sale in Poynette, WI
Spirit lives up to his name. Don't let his age fool you, he has more
energy than horses half his age. Good barrel prospect. Will stand for vet,
ferrier, bathes, clips, ties etc. He will load into a slant load trailer
but has problems with straight loads. Has done lots of trail riding last
couple years including bridges and water. Has been horse camping also.
He needs someone with more time to ride him. Age is approx. $1000 OBO

About Poynette, WI
Poynette was named after Pierre Paquette (1796–1836), an early fur trader and settler of south central Wisconsin. When an application was made for a post office in the settlement, Paquette's name was misread as Poynette, and the post office was mistakenly named "Poynette". The village was then named after the post office. The community was incorporated in 1892.
