Half Arabian Mare for Sale in Laporte, IN
I am 14 years old and this horse is nice and fun to be around. I have done
some work of Parelli with her. She is fun to ride but is hot at first so
lunging would solve that. She is an arabian cross and is very beautiful. I
have done some work with her over jumping. She has go and would do GREAT
barrel racing or pole bending. She turns on her haunches and forequarters
(that may be good for reining or cutting) She is an easy keeper. She
hasn't had any history of colic, lameness, or any illnesses. She bathes,
stands for vet and farrier well. She loves attention and gets along
well with the other horses. She would make a great horse for anyone.

About Laporte, IN
The settlement of La Porte was established in July 1832. Abraham P. Andrew, one of the purchasers of the site, constructed the first sawmill in that year. The first settler arrived in October, building a permanent cabin just north of what would become the courthouse square. After the US extinguished land claims by the Potowatomi and other historic tribes of the area by treaty and removal to Indian Territory, in 1833 a Federal Land Office was established in La Porte.
