Quarter Horse Mare for Sale in Newaygo, MI

Jesse is a great little horse that would be great for children with a little riding experience or a small adult. She is quiet on trails and is road safe very well broke. Her 4H training was over 5 years ago, and she is a trail horse for now. She has a smooth trot and nice lope. She Loads, clips, ties, and bathes great. Jesse is too small for me so she needs a wonderful home. Jesse is sound and has no health problems, she does have a very slight over bite which has not affected her eating ability at all. She is ready for your spring riding adventures. PLEASE only reply with serious inquiries. I will not reply to those that do not seem sincere. Gloria 231-652-1476

About Newaygo, MI

Newaygo's recorded history goes back to the 1600s and the French coureur des bois (independent trappers) and, later, fur company voyageurs that travelled by canoe via the Muskegon River. It was ostensibly named after Chief Nuwagon, an Ojibwe leader who signed the Treaty of Saginaw in 1819, or for an Algonquian word meaning "much water". John Brooks came to harvest lumber in 1836, and was the town's first postmaster in 1847. Proximity to the river made it a center for floating logs to the mills in Muskegon during the lumber boom of the late 1800s. As of the census of 2010, there were 1,976 people, 786 households, and 502 families living in the city.
