Appaloosa Mare for Sale in Shelton, WA
Sundance is a 15 hh well broke Appy mare. No professional training or showing. Just a trail horse. Goes under, over or through anything with no spook. Would recommend advanced beginner as she can be stubborn. Darla is a 16. 3 hh TB mare. Was started in dressage and jumping but I don't know the extent of her training in either. Would recommend intermediate or better rider as she can be a little hot to start with, but settles right down. She's due to foal in late March or early April. Neither mare bites, kicks, rears, bucks, pins ears, etc. . Neither have any bad stall manners. Both load and haul great and are good for vet and farrier. Both have excellent bloodlines. Wanting to do a free care lease. NO breeding or lease to own. Will consider selling $2, 500 for Sundance and $5, 000 for Darla without the foal.
About Shelton, WA
Shelton was officially incorporated in 1890. The city was named after David Shelton, a delegate to the territorial legislature. Shelton was once served by a small fleet of steamboats which was part of the Puget Sound Mosquito Fleet. These boats included the Old Settler , Irene , Willie, City of Shelton , Marian, Clara Brown , and S.G. Simpson .
