Tusk has the classic curls of the Curly breed but more important he has
the gentle willing disposition. Tusk has been ridden bareback with a
halter by several people most of whom had little horse experience. His
attitude is 'show me what you want and I will comply as best I can'.
We get frequent calls looking for a 'kid safe' horse the definition
of which escapes us as any horse on any day may have a moment that is
completely not safe for a kid or anyone. However, we believe that by
breeding for gentle dispostions and starting training with our foundation
we produce horses that will keep themselves and their owners out of
harms way as well as or better than most 'kid broke' horses on the market.
