Arabian Mare for Sale in West Bend, WI
Misty is cute as a bug. She has great ground manners. Little is known about her training. She came with very little information. However we have been on her back and she seemed fine with that but didn't seem to know much. We have no papers for her. As we understand it she was broke, then she was not handle much for about 5 years after that. She was hard to catch when we got her but is much better now. She has a white blaze and one white sock. We think, with some work she will make someone a very nice little horse. Picture to come soon. We don't know how old she is but the vet said she is about 9. E - mail for more info. About West Bend, WI
Before the arrival of European settlers in southeastern Wisconsin, the Potawatomi and Menominee Indians inhabited the land now occupied by the city of West Bend. In 1845, the Wisconsin Territorial Legislature authorized the building of a road to connect Fond du Lac and Milwaukee. Byron Kilbourn, one of the highway commissioners, and Jasper Vliet, a surveyor, were put in charge of determining the route the road would take and of identifying a good halfway point for travelers. The path they chose is now U.S. Route 45 and the rest stop is present-day West Bend.
