Quarter Horse Stallion for Sale in Chehalis, WA
Winkie is a sweet boo boo boy who is in need of some time off for rehab. He is stiff in his front end. Some days he is great and others he has a hard time. Doesn't appear to be a life long injury. . We believe with some TLC and regular hoof care (trims) that he will pull out of this by next Spring. We do not have the facility to care for him properly through the winter. Therefore are willing to allow him to go for such a small price to ONLY A GOOD REHAB HOME. Winkie is broke to ride>we believe he had been used as a working cow horse, as he has the moves & Talk about smooth - LIKE A CADILLAC!!! Easy keeper, easy to catch, bridle, saddle, load, trim, bathe, etc. . and PRETTY TOO !!!
About Chehalis, WA
Chehalis began as a settlement around a warehouse beside a railroad track in 1873, when the Northern Pacific Railroad built northward from Kalama to Tacoma, and ignored Claquato, then the county seat three miles to the west. After the Northern Pacific bypassed Claquato, the county seat was moved to Chehalis, leaving Claquato little more than a historical landmark. By 1874, a store was added to the warehouse, and several houses were constructed. The new town was first named Saundersville, for S.S. Saunders, on whose donation land claim it was founded.
