Warmblood Mare for Sale in Sacramento, CA

This 17H -17y / o Warmblood mare, a former 3- day eventer, has seen it all. After years of eventing she has been diagnosed with DJD and only has one eye remaining after losing the fight against Conjunctivitis. This beautiful girl, is as gentle as a lamb, seized in April due to neglect from her 'retirement' home who claimed they were a "rescue". She is a wonderful girl just wanting to go out on light trail rides or pack kids around the yard.

About Sacramento, CA

Traditionally, their diet was dominated by acorns taken from the plentiful oak trees in the region, and by fruits, bulbs, seeds, and roots gathered throughout the year. In 1808, the Spanish explorer Gabriel Moraga discovered and named the Sacramento Valley and the Sacramento River. A Spanish writer with the Moraga expedition wrote: "Canopies of oaks and cottonwoods, many festooned with grapevines, overhung both sides of the blue current.
