Appendix Stallion for Sale in Oshkosh, WI
PRICE LOWERED $7000 OBO He has been trained both english and western, but was been shown mostly western by a local trainer. He always cleans house at open shows, he has a beautiful, comfy western jog and then can extend into a wonderful long trot. He has a rocking horse lope and is competitive in both. No vices, gets along with all horses, tends to be low on the totem pole in the pasture. He is a barn favorite with his typical Leaguer attitude. Quiet as can be on the ground, wants to be in your pocket, but respects your space. Does whatever is asked of him. Stands quietly in cross ties and while mounting. Healthy as a horse (sorry, couldn't resist;)
About Oshkosh, WI
Oshkosh was named for Menominee Chief Oshkosh, whose name meant "claw" (cf. Ojibwe oshkanzh, "the claw"). Although the fur trade attracted the first European settlers to the area as early as 1818, it never became a major player in the fur trade. Soon after 1830, much of the trade moved west, as there had been over-trapping in the region. The establishment and growth of the lumber industry in the area spurred development of Oshkosh.
