Cherokee is a sweet mare that loves attention from the ground. She will come right up to you in the pasture. She trailers very good, does well with the farrier and grooming. She needs an experienced rider that will know how to make her mind. My husband bought her for me and I had broken my leg and have never been able to ride her. My son has riden her several times but he is not experienced and has a hard time handling her. Her previous owners have used her quite a bit for grand entry in the rodeos and for trail rides.
