"Kip" is a 16. 1 hand, 7 year old gelding. His bloodlines include Sonny Go Lucky, Tardy Too and Nicky Skip. Although he can be ridden either English or Western, he was destined to be a Hunter / Jumper. He is a beautiful mover and is currently being schooled 2'6". Kip is a very quiet and gentle horse that would be suitable for a beginner rider. He also loves to trail ride. This is an all - around horse that I feel could do absolutely anything! About Summerfield, NC
Summerfield School Gymnasium and Community Center has a gym that was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2012. The Summerfield Historic District was listed in 2005. Former North Carolina Governor Alexander Martin had a house that he lived in the town square of Summerfield, which is not standing today. George Washington stayed in the house during the Revolutionary War. There is currently a historical home on the square known as the Martin House, but it was lived in by a son of the Governor.
