Arabian Stallion for Sale in Ames, IA

Kalypso has no vices. He clips, bathes, stands for the farrier, and loads easily. He has never been lame. He is a very pretty bay Arab. He has been shown English, Western, Speed Events, Trail, Dressage, and Showmanship. He would make an awesome 4- H horse. He would also be a good family horse, he takes really good care of his riders. The only reason I am selling him is that I am to big for him to ride in dressage. I've taken him out on trail rides by himself and with others. He doesn't run off when spooked and is ok with cars but NOT the UPs truck. I ride him in a egg butt snaffle or a tom thumb. Price hugely negotiable for youth

About Ames, IA

The city was founded in 1864 as a station stop on the Cedar Rapids and Missouri Railroad and was named after 19th century U.S. Congressman Oakes Ames of Massachusetts, who was influential in the building of the transcontinental railroad. Ames was founded by local resident Cynthia Olive Duff (née Kellogg) and railroad magnate John Insley Blair, near a location that was deemed favorable for a railroad crossing of the Skunk River.
