Thoroughbred Mare for Sale in Moorpark, CA
Beautiful, smart, friendly TB mare, 5 yrs. Loves to jump / trails. Still green, but wants to please. Excellent ground manners, ties, clips, etc. Gentle, but needs strong, experianced rider to take her to the top! She was born and raised at my uncle's ranch until he fell ill in 4 / 04, when I took her in. Not registered, but can be if you want to spend the cash. I have all parent's papers and stud certificate, as well as her pedigree. She loves kids / dogs, and is almost bombproof on the trail. Vetted clean in December 2004, never been lame or ill, up to date w / all shots, worming, shoes. She has been in training in Moorpark for the last month, and is doing fantastic! She shows a lot of skill in dressage, but also seems to be suited for eventing. Would love to see her in full time training. Must sell ASAP to loving home only, due to financial difficulties. All reasonable offers considered.
About Moorpark, CA
Over 75 percent of homes in Moorpark were constructed after 1980. "Old Town Moorpark" is the area surrounding High Street, and is the historic center of the city. A feature of the downtown area are the pepper trees that line High Street, planted by Robert Poindexter who was responsible for the plotting and mapping of the town. This area also features the High Street Arts Center (a Performing Arts center operated by the City of Moorpark), and various restaurants and businesses. The Peach Hill and Mountain Meadows neighborhoods are south of the Arroyo Simi, and most of the homes here were built within the last 30 years.
