This is a very nice grullo stud colt, he is halter broke and leads. Nice personality. Very nice confirmation, he should mature to a very well muscled 14. 3 hands. His dam is my nicest mare, both parents were grulla, he could be homozygous black. He has a very nice hip and head and has nice muscle definition. I think he would excel at reining or most anything else you want to use him for as well as being a very nice stallion. He is a great horse, very nicely built. He has that great foundation look He traces back to King, Leo, Three Bars, Skipper W, Poco Bueno, Boston Mac, Sonny Dee Bar. About Ava, MO
The area was settled during the 1830s and Douglas County was incorporated in 1857, with Vera Cruz as county seat. In 1864, the town of Militia Springs was founded and became the new county seat in 1870. The town was platted [a] in 1871 and renamed Ava in 1881, although not incorporated until 1908. Militia Springs was the location of an encampment of Union soldiers or Missouri Militia during the American Civil War. During and after the Civil War, a dispute was ongoing regarding the county seat between Vera Cruz to the east and Arno to the west.
